LEADERSHIP

Allen Durham is the founder, President and CEO of United Badges Insurance Services. He is very honored to have worked with the Public Safety community for over 22 of his 27 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Durham has designed and implemented numerous insurance programs representing thousands of first responders. Prior to his founding of United Badges Insurance Services, Mr. Durham held senior leadership roles with multiple insurance and reinsurance organizations. Mr. Durham has led organizations delivering insurance products which have paid over $100,000,000 in claims on behalf of First Responders and their families.

Mr. Durham holds a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from the Florida State University College of Business and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis School of Law. In addition, Mr. Durham also holds the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) industry designations. He is a licensed Property/Casualty (P&C) insurance agent and Life/Accident & Health (A&H) insurance agent in multiple states.

Among many accomplishments, Mr. Durham has been named an honorary member of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, one of only 9 individuals in the history of the state of Florida to receive this honor. Mr. Durham is a recipient of the prestigious Circle of Gold Award from Florida State University and has been a guest lecturer on several occasions for the Florida State University Risk Management and Insurance major. He has previously served as Chairman of the Florida State University National Alumni Association Board of Directors and has also served on the Executive Committee for the Florida State University College of Business Board of Governors, the Board of Trustees for the Holy Comforter Episcopal School, the Board of Directors for the Southwestern Insurance Information Service and as a member of the Florida Catastrophic Storm Risk Management Center Advisory Council. Mr. Durham currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Police Chiefs Education and Research Foundation.
