This week is National Police Week, honoring the men and women in law enforcement especially those who have been killed in the line of duty.

We applaud the efforts of everyone who is participating in this year’s Police Unity Tour Ride. The 2021 Police Unity Tour Ride for those who died in the Line of Duty kicked off this morning in Tallahassee, FL. on Mahan Drive.

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.
The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.

The Unity Tour, which was established in 1997, was cancelled last year because of the virus.

These riders will be logging between eight and 10 hours each day of the journey with two missions in mind: to remember their fallen comrades and raise money for the National Law Enforcement memorial in Washington, D.C., which bears the names of all officers killed in the line of duty.
